Like so many others, she moved to Chico to be closer to her son, Michael, and her grandchildren. Retirement allowed her to enjoy theater, film, books, and bridge with much more regularity. Barbara joined SI Chico in July of 2004, and resigned her membership in September of this year due to health issues.&amp;nbsp; Her sister will be arriving in Chico this week and more information will be available shortly at &lt;a href="http://www.affordablemortuary.net/" target="_blank"&gt;www.affordablemortuary.net&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Her sponsor was Barbara Evans.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, just a reminder, we will be meeting in the "lounge" area of the Elk's Club tomorrow as the Elk's have a special speaker in the main room.&amp;nbsp; It was suggested at last Wednesday's meeting that since some of our members had the day off, and the Elk's were up for it, they would make bar service available.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Finally, it was also suggested that we wear hats tomorrow to honor our dear friend and long time SI member Tish, who always wears a hat to club.&amp;nbsp; (I just purchased one at JC Penny where ironically they have a big selection ON SALE!) While there may have been a couple of glitches, for the most part, everyone seemed happy with the event.  The new meeting area of the Atlantis was well received even though we had some trouble with the sound.  Do understand that we were the test event for the resort and the bugs will be worked out prior to conference.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We ran out of region rosters and binders so if you did not get yours, please send me an email at &lt;a href="mailto:suelcamp@hotmail.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"&gt;suelcamp@hotmail.com&lt;/a&gt; so that I can get one to you.  We are going to print some more of each and have them available at the Fall District Meetings.  We will also have them available on CD's should you want one of those as well.
